A SUMMARY OF OUR BELIEFS
We believe in the Holy Bible as the only verbally inspired revelation of God to man, inerrant in the original writings, sovereignly preserved, and the final authority for all faith and practice.
We believe that there is only one living and true God, eternally existing in three persons, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe that Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, humbled Himself and was born into this world of the virgin Mary for the purpose of our redemption, and as such is both fully God and fully man.
We believe that man was created by God in His own image. By his free choice, man sinned against God and brought physical and spiritual death upon the whole human race.
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins and rose bodily from the grave; and that all who believe in Him are freely justified, and thereby placed into the Body of Christ, the Church.
We believe that the believer is eternally secure through the power of the Holy Spirit.
We believe in the bodily resurrection of both the saved and the unsaved, in the eternal blessedness of the saved, and in the judgment and eternal punishment of the unsaved.
As a Southern Baptist church, we affirm and hold to the “Baptist Faith and Message” (2000) and find the faculty at Southern Seminary offers a helpful exposition.
